God is faithful because His nature is unchanging. He is the unchanging changer. Because of the nature of God our hope finds a strong foundation. If God were not faithful, our salvation to eternal life could be in jeopardy. TEXT: 2 Kings 15: 3, 9, 10, 16, 18, 24, 28, 34, 35 INTRODUCTION: One of the key lessons that Jesus taught His disciples was accountability. He taught this lesson having in mind that all who have come to Him were stewards. Not only are Christians to be ready as He taught using the five wise and foolish virgins, but that they have to be accountable for their stewardship. If you admit that you have been saved to serve, than at the end of your service you should have a report or certificate of service. In essence everyone who comes to Christ must give an account of what they have done as witnesses. Text:  1 King 11:4-8 INTRODUCTION: Jesus summarized for us the way we are supposed to love God. “You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your heart” God does not expect anything less than this from any of His children. When the chosen people of God performed below this expectation, God told them through Isaiah and same echoed by Jesus echoed Is. 29:13 in Matt. 15: 8 “You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you: These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. Whatever we resolve to do, we incline towards and determine to do come from it. As the center of our physical and spiritual being it plays an important role in our relationship with God. Loved ones, women, sons, daughters and aged ones had been carried away captives to be used as slaves by the Amalekites. This situation was precipitated by self- will and disobedience.
