Pastor O. F Olushoga attended the University of Ibadan, Nigeria from 1974-1977 where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and the University of Ife from 1979-1980 where he obtained a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He worked briefly with the FDA and Pfizer before joining UAC division of Unilever initially as Development Chemist. He rose to the post of Quality Assurance Manager. After leaving UAC, He worked briefly as Consultant/ manager with Eleganza and Doyin Industries. While at Eleganza, he gave his life to Christ on January 4, 1992 after a miraculous deliverance from a mysterious sickness by the Lord Jesus Christ. He started attending the Foursquare Gospel Church in Sango-Ota, Nigeria where he joined the deliverance ministering team. It was here that the concept of ministry formed, initially to be called The Lost sheep ministry. He transferred to Foursquare Gospel Church Akute where he became head of the ministering team.  He attended Foursquare seminary, LIFE Bible College, Ikorodu, Nigeria between 1996 and 1998 for a Second B.A degree (Weekend) in Biblical studies. While at the Bible College, the inspiration to start a ministry that would preach deliverance to the captives became stronger and was later confirmed by prophecy from Psalm 23. The name originally proposed was therefore changed to the Lord’s sheep ministries. The ministries was formally commissioned in August 2004 in the Bronx.
True believers are like sheep and the Lord is their shepherd. The secret to the manifestation of God’s power lies in obedience to His word. His sheep hear His voice and obey Him. The ministry works under the acronym T.R.E.D. It is committed to Teaching the undiluted word of God, Reaching out to the community, Evangelizing and Demonstrating the power of God. This is reflected in the four distinct ministries under the umbrella name The Lord’s Sheep Ministries.
